Sunday

summer time

A salty smell
A blue light taste
And the wave
Brings over a song
From open sea
From deep waters
That silver rock
Commends its body
To noonday sun
Under its shade
On sandy seaside
Lovers snuggling
A frozen melon
With the knife
Upon the table
Underneath
Backyard’s roof
Swallows nesting

  1. This is a wonderful poem - full of color, highly aesthetic and thoughtful!!
